We are located in Melbourne CBD at 168 Lonsdale Street. Please enter the foyer from Lonsdale street and take the elevator to see us at Level 13.

How do I go about making a reservation?

Please note that the largest group we can accommodate is 8 guests. For all large group bookings or any bookings with special requests please get in touch via email- info@fablemelbourne.com.au.

We can also be reached via phone- Tuesday to Thursday from 11am to 5pm. Bookings are strongly encouraged due to limited seating capacity.

Walk-in guests are welcomed but are subject to availability.

Can I please have a table by the window?

Fable is a rooftop venue with a stunning view all tables are allocated by our reservation team prior to your arrival and while we do our best to accommodate table requests these cannot be guaranteed, however, all of our tables experience a view.

How long are dining reservations?

Reservation periods at Fable Melbourne are for 2 hours. If you wish to have an extended booking please let our staff know and our management team will try to accommodate your request based on availability.

Special Dietary requirements

The Fable food offering is dietary friendly and caters for the majority of dietary requirements including a selection of vegan and gluten – free options and substitutions where possible. Please advise upon booking of any dietary requirements so we can best accommodate you. 

What happens with birthdays at Fable Melbourne?

You are more than welcome to bring a birthday cake to the venue, we offer cakeage at $5 per person. Please let our team know at the time of booking if you are bringing a cake. Our venue policy for external items such as balloons, signage, confetti and party decorations are not permitted unless a private space has been hired.

Can I just come for drinks / Can I request a booth?

We have some wonderful options for both drinks and booth bookings. Whether it be a romantic date night, a group catch up after work or even late night cocktails – send us an email and we can send you some options to best suit your needs. info@fablemelbourne.com.au

Walk ins are of course encouraged also, but subject to availability so we do recommend to book in advance to avoid disappointment. We also offer bookings for cocktails and small bites with a one hour seating time

SMOKING AT FABLE

Fable is a no smoking venue. Smoking is only permitted downstairs on the ground floor, and outside the building.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

Fable is wheelchair friendly. Our elevator runs from ground floor directly into the venue and facilities are accessible at level 5 of our building. When making a reservation let our team you will have a guest with a wheelchair and we will make sure we have an easily accessible table for you.

MINORS POLICY

Unfortunately Fable is not able to permit the entry of minors in the venue at any time, even when accompanied by an adult or guardian. Our staff may request the ID of any persons upon entry to the venue according to RSA and Licensing requirements.

What is the Dress Code for Fable Melbourne?

At Fable we require a smart-casual dress code, and on Friday and Saturday nights we love to see you dress to impress! Our management reserve the right to deny entrance to guests who may not be wearing suitable attire.
